About Us

In 2001 *Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) made known it's intention to regulate evaporative emissions (fuel systems) from boats produced in the United States.

Since that initial announcement, BluSkies management has been proactively involved in monitoring, negotiating and in many cases shaping this regulatory issue in an effort to minimize the impact on the North American Boating Industry.

Our management, in addition to being charter members of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) emissions task force, are regularly providing input and guidance on American Boat And Yacht Council (ABYC) standards committees, dedicated to adopting safe boat building practices, impacted by newly emerging technologies surrounding implementation of these new EPA laws.

With decades of experience in fuel containment (aluminum, rotationally molded and blow molded tanks) combined with our growing comprehensive understanding of vapor management and system criteria performance, BluSkies International is your partner of choice when dealing with EPA and USCG certified marine fuel systems.

BluSkies understands the inherent value of fuel system integrators and therefore taking the lead in supporting boat manufacturers by specializing in marine fuel systems.

BluSkies understands the custom nature of boat designs and recognizes that fuel system designs also vary by boat builder, therefore our customized fuel system solutions utilize marine specific technologies designed specifically for boats.

Finally, BluSkies recognizes that boat builders need to minimize the burden of the new EPA law due to their limited resources available, therefore BluSkies provides affordable design and certification services, combined with low cost components and fuel system solution acquisitions.

* The California Air Resources Board has very similar regulations also in place
